Released under his own label Sorta Kinda Music, this high-tempo track brings back memories of the running man, as well as the Utah Saints 'Something Good’ from the early 1990s. It is catchy, engaging and hooks you in, leaving you wanting more. It's a track that makes you want to dance the night away and never want to leave the club. If you are looking for an energised club track, this one should be on your must- have playlist. Damo Cox has created a seamless blend of various elements of percussion, bass and synth rhythm that easily transition into one another. A variety of percussion components and a strong bass drops keep the track moving. It has an industrial tech house feel to it.

His belief is that movement is essential to a successful track because it helps to engage people with the music and this track is a testament to this, it keeps you moving from start to finish, with tempo shifts, catchy hooks, and suspenseful tones.

Damo Cox has been cutting up beats on Gold Coast dance floors and around the world at festivals such as Splendour in the Grass and Wonderland. He is no stranger to chart success with his track  ' Rolling Away ' released in 2020, reaching #10 on the Traxsource Tech House Chart, ' Day For It ' released in 2021 reached  #1 on the Traxsource Electro House Chart, and his record label Sorta Kinda Music's compilation release, 'Club Cactus' reaching no. 2 on the iTunes dance albums in Australia in 2021 and his track ' Acid Kiss' peaking at #17 on the ARIA Club Charts.

Progressing from humble beginnings as an SAE graduate honing his craft as an Audio Engineer, to being seen and heard on world stages and dancefloors as a DJ, Damo Cox refuses to be put in a box as he experiments with a variety of styles and combinations. This could be the key to his success and what sets him apart on any dance floor.

If you have not heard of him before then it is time to get your head out of the sand and get your feet on the dancefloor, as he is about to hit your dance music radar with this latest track.

'2am in Ashmore' takes you on a journey into the unknown, drags you into the vortex, and then the bass drops, leaving you completely hooked on the rhythm of the music.

'2am in Ashmore' is available right now exclusively on Beatport, and everwhere else on May 6.
